CHAPTER 19 (Part -1)
“The SECRET of the Kingdom of God has been given to you,” (Mk. 4:11)
More than any other topic, Jesus Christ who was God in the flesh (Jn. 10:30), talked about the Kingdom of God over and over again. Bible scholars inform us that the undisputed heart of all Jesus’ key teachings center around the theme of the “Kingdom of God.” The KINGDOM is mentioned more than any other topic in the New Testament (162 times). So why is there still so much debate and confusion among modern theologians and Christians today about if the Kingdom of God has come or Not? Jesus said, “But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, “‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!” (Mk. 4:11-12). Jesus told parables in public to unbelievers, but he privately revealed the Secrets of God to his disciples. Jesus said, “For everything that is HIDDEN will eventually be brought into the open, and every SECRET will be brought to Light,” (Mk. 4:22). Jesus said, “he who has (spiritual) ears, let him hear,” (Mk. 4:9). Jesus also said, “… I have come into this world, so that the blind will see… ” (Jn. 9:39). “These are the things God has REVEALED to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the DEEP THINGS of God,” (1 Cor. 2:10).
Could there possibly be Hidden Keys of God that can unlock the Secret to Knowledge? Jesus was a radical rebel who condemned the religious leaders of his day for taking away the Key to Knowledge: “Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the Key to Knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering,” (Lk. 11:52). The Bible speaks of the knowledge of the Secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven (Mt. 13:11); the Mysteries of Christ and God’s Will (Eph. 3:4); and the Hidden Manna (Rev. 2:17). The Holy Ghost teaches us all things (Jn. 14:26): “The ANOINTING you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you,” (1 Jn. 2:27). In fact, because the Holy Ghost revealed “Secret Things” (Deut. 29:29) to the Apostle Paul, we are now able to understand the mysteries of God that the Old Testament prophets and the angels could not even understand in their time (Eph. 3:3-5; 1 Pet. 1:11-12). The Bible tells us that many Mysteries of God will be sealed up until the end of time (Dan. 12:4; Rev. 10:4). So, if we are presently living in the End Times, what is this Kingdom Secret?
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS IN OUR MIND ~ We have the Mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16)
“The Coming of the Kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the Kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU,” (Lk. 17:20-21)
Many Christians who pray the lord’s prayer are still waiting for “Thy Kingdom to Come,” (Mt. 6:10). They are told that when Jesus returns, he will rapture them up to God’s Kingdom. But, Jesus told us to pray that God’s will be done on earth. After Jesus resurrected from the dead and ascended to heaven, he sent the Holy Spirit to invade planet earth, and his Church was born on Pentecost. Jesus told his followers that the Kingdom of God has already come: “if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come to you” (Lk. 11:20; Mt. 12:28). The same verb “has come” (ephthasen) is used repeatedly, and it clearly means “is now present” (Rm. 9:31; 2 Col. 10:14; Phil. 3:16; 1 Thes. 2:16). Paul said, “Let this Mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,” (Phil. 2:5).
The Secret of the Kingdom of God is knowing that God’s Kingdom exits “Within Us” in the “spirit dimension” where Jesus is King. So, if Jesus is the King of your heart and Life, then the Kingdom is Within You. Knowing and understanding the Kingdom of God, begins with the work of God’s Spirit in our hearts and Minds. Through the ANOINTING, baptism and guidance of the Holy Spirit, believers can have the “Mind of Christ.” Our hearts and minds can rise from the spiritual deadness of being blind and ignorant to realizing our future Eternal life in our glorified bodies – to never grow old and become immortal. By consistently spending time with Christ through prayer and meditation, reading and studying God’s Word, and fellowshipping with God’s people, we can have some insight into God’s plans, thoughts, and actions. God created us to worship him in His Kingdom in our minds and to love him with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Lk. 10:27).
HOW CAN WE ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD-? ~ Repent and be Born Again-!
“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has come near,” (Mt. 4:17)
Jesus’ first command when he started preaching was to Repent. The word translated as ‘Repent’ (Greek word “metanoia”) means to have a change of mind and heart (to think differently about something). In this case, that “Something” is the Kingdom of God that has come near. The urgency was that God had invaded earth in Jesus Christ and man did not need any obsolete Organized Religions anymore (Heb. 8:13). Jesus and John the Baptist were both Sacrilegious rebels that opposed Organized Religion (Mt. 3:2). John condemned his religious leaders as a “brood of vipers” (Mt. 3:7) or a family of snakes. John was essentially calling his church leaders of the day “sons of serpents” or devils. Jesus also repeated this: “You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil” (Mt. 12:34)? Jesus cleansed the Temple twice (Jn. 2:15; Mt. 21:12), and he was charged with Blasphemy for healing the sick on the Sabbath (Mk. 3:3). Jesus wants us to REPENT – turn away from the SIN of believing in Institutional Religions to Save Us.
Both Jesus and John the Baptist are commanding us to REPENT or turn from our ritualistic, traditional, religious formalism (all Organized Religions) and to surrender to Jesus our King. The Apostle Peter gives us further guidance on what we must do. At Pentecost, he informed his fellow Israelites that, “… God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.” When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift (ANOINTING) of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:37-38).
WE MUST BE ANOINTED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT ~ To be Born Again-!
“Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born of Water and the Spirit,” (Jn. 3:5)
Jesus told the Jewish High Priest Nicodemus that he must be “Born Again” to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus referred to being physically born of water (in our mother’s womb) and being spiritually reborn to see God’s Kingdom. This was and still is a revolutionary concept – similar to “THE MATRIX” movie: “Neo discovers that he is living in a world that has been created to hide the truth from humans, in which people are kept as slaves. He learns the truth and his spiritual eyes are opened to see “God’s Kingdom.” We enter the Kingdom by Faith. Being born again prepares us to “rule together as kings” with Christ (2 Tim. 2:12). How are we born again? “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved,” (Rom. 10).
The Apostle Paul tells us that those that have only been baptized in water as a ritual to join a church are incomplete: “For John baptized with Water, but in a few days you will be Baptized with the Holy Spirit,” (Acts 1:5). They have not received the Gift of the Holy Spirit, because they have not been Anointed (baptized) by the Holy Spirit. This is confirmed by Paul in the Book of Acts (19:2-6). Paul states: “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He ANOINTED us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come,” (2 Cor. 2:21-22). So, if we must be Anointed by the Holy Spirit – Did the Father anoint the Son – Jesus with OIL -?
GOD ANOINTED JESUS WITH HOLY OIL ~ As our Eternal “High” Priest-!
“Therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by ANOINTING you with the Oil of Joy,” (Heb. 1:9)
The Apostle Paul in the book of Hebrews, quotes the above verse from the Old Testament, where it states that God will Anoint the Messiah with the Oil of Joy (Psalm 45:7). This was a prophecy about Jesus being anointed with the Oil of Joy to become the future Messiah. In the New Testament, Jesus fulfills this prophecy when he quotes the prophet Isaiah, who states that God will Anoint the future Messiah (Jesus) with the Oil of Gladness (Is. 61:1). Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has ANOINTED me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,… ” (Lk. 4:18). Paul also says that, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power,… ” (Acts 10:38).
The New Testament reveals three (3) more accounts of Jesus being ANOINTED. The first event occurred in the house of Simon the Pharisee, at least two years before the Crucifixion, when John the baptist was still alive. An unknown woman who was a notorious sinner (prostitute) ANOINTED Jesus’ feet. Jesus forgave her sins and also rebuked Simon for not Anointing his head with Oil (Lk. 7:36-50). The next event occurred in the house of Lazarus in Bethany, six days before the Passover. At this time Mary, the sister of Lazarus and Martha ANOINTED Jesus’ feet (Jn. 12:1-8). The last ANOINTING of Jesus occurred in the house of Simon the Leper in Bethany, just before Jesus was crucified. An unknown woman ANOINTED Jesus’ head (Mt. 26:6-13).
THE ANOINTED ONE ~ Christ’s Title (“You are the Christ,” Mk. 8:29)
“Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a Fragrant Offering,” (Eph. 5:2)
Did you know that Jesus’ last name is not “CHRIST”? In fact, his first name is not and never was “Jesus.” Really? His parents Mary and Joseph gave him a quite common Jewish name – Yeshu’a (Joshua). Christ is not and never was Jesus’ last name. Jesus was prophesied as the promised Messiah (the Christ) or world savior in the first ancient path prophecy in Genesis (Gen. 3:15). The Hebrew word for Christ is Messiah and the Greek word for Messiah is Christ. Both mean the Anointed One. So Jesus is the Christ or the Messiah. He is the ANOINTED one. CHRIST is not his last name, but his title – Jesus the Christ (Messiah, Savior) or Jesus the Anointed One. Jesus was made the Christ by being ANOINTED by God’s Holy Anointing Oil in Heaven (Heb. 1:9). Jesus had to be baptized by John and Anointed by the Holy Spirit into the MELCHIZEDEK priesthood and start his ministry to become the High Priest and the Holy Sacrifice for our sins. The foundation of Jesus’s Priesthood is based on being in the order of Melchizedek: “You (Jesus) are a Priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” This is documented 7 times (Ps. 110:4, Heb.: 5:6, 10; 6:20; 7:1,11,17).
CHRISTIANS ARE CALLED ~ The Anointed Ones (“little Christs”)
Paul said, “We are like a sweet-smelling AROMA “Incense” offered by Christ to God,” (2 Cor. 2:15)
It was in Antioch that the disciples of Jesus were first called “Christians” or little Christs (Acts 11:26). The title began as a slanderous nickname (similar to a Jesus Freak), until the world discovered that these “little Christs” were also ANOINTED by Jesus and the Holy Spirit to perform signs and wonders. It was by the lives of these first followers of Jesus that changed the world through their ANOINTING, that the title Christian became a name of admiration, respect and wonder. The Apostle Paul mentions two gifts God gives us when we become believers: (1) The Seal of Ownership – this shows who our Master (King) is, and (2) The Holy Spirit – This shows that Jesus “ANOINTED us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come,” (2 Cor. 1:21-22). The ANOINTING (Oil) of the Holy Spirit’s power works in us to transform us now, and what we experience now is just a taste of the total change we will experience in eternity. Paul repeats this teaching again: “… When you believed, you were marked in him with a Seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory,” (Eph. 1:13-14). In addition, Luke writes to “Theophilus” (Lk. 1:3-4), who is quoted with saying the following: “Are you unwilling to be anointed with the Oil of God? Wherefore we are called Christians on this account, because we are anointed with the Oil of God,” (Theophilus of Antioch, 181 AD). So, does the Old Testament mention anyone being Anointed with Holy Oil-?
THE “HIDDEN” HOLY ANOINTING OIL ~ In the Old Testament-! (Ex. 30:23-25)
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has ANOINTED me to… to bestow on them… the OIL OF JOY instead of mourning… ” (Is. 61:1-3)
In the book of Exodus, we can read where the Lord God first gave Moses a special recipe for a sweet-smelling (perfume) Holy Anointing Oil. They burned oil for the light in the tabernacle. Oil is a symbol of God’s Holy Spirit (Mt. 25:7). God directed the Israelites to use this sacred ANOINTING Oil to burn Incense in the tabernacle and to anoint Aaron and the Levitical Priesthood. The holy “Oil of Anointing” formed an integral part of the ordination of the priesthood and the High Priest as well as in the consecration of the articles of the Tabernacle (Exodus 30:26). The primary purpose of anointing with the holy anointing oil was to set the Anointed person or object apart or “Holy” for God’s use ONLY (Exodus 30:29). God also requested that the Israelites make special offerings to Him of “Spices for the ANOINTING Oil and the fragrant INCENSE” (Ex. 35: 1-8). Originally, the oil was used exclusively for the priests and the Tabernacle articles, but its use was later extended to include kings (I Samuel 10:1). It was forbidden to be used on an outsider or to be used on the body of any common person. The Israelites were forbidden to duplicate it for themselves (Ex. 30:33). The penalty was DEATH (Lev. 10:1-2).
We know that when God anointed his Prophets (1 Kg. 19:16), Priests (Ex. 40:13), and Kings (1 Sam.16: 3,13) with his Holy Anointing Oil, the Spirit of the Lord came upon them in power and they could preach, prophesy, witness, perform miraculous healings, see visions, and dream dreams of the future. These called-out ones would change into different people (2 Cor. 5:17). For example, we see this happen when God’s prophet Samuel anoints Saul as King over Israel: “Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying, “Has not the Lord ANOINTED you ruler over his inheritance? (1 Sam. 10:1). Samuel then tells Saul: “The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person,” (1 Sam. 10:6-7). Seeing the repeated effects of God’s Holy Anointing Oil, some have speculated that God’s special recipe for this Holy Oil contained a supernatural substance from the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden.
THE TREE OF LIFE ~ Fruits of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23)
“On each side of the river stood the Tree of Life, bearing twelve (12) crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the (Cannabis) Leaves of the Tree are for the Healing of the Nations,” (Rev. 22:1-2)
The “Tree of life” is a fundamental widespread theme in many of the world’s religious, mythological, and philosophical traditions. This sacred Tree is one of two specific trees first appearing in the center of the Garden of Eden (Gen. 2:9-13) in the Land of KUSH (Ethiopia). God sets this Tree apart as Holy (Hemp), and as the source of the Sacred Fruit that gives eternal life to Adam and Eve. It is distinct from the tree of the knowledge of good and Evil or the “Tree of Death.” The prophet Ezekiel confirms this: “Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river”… “Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for Healing,” (Ez. 47:12). The Tree of Life reappears as part of the New Garden of Eden with 12 types of Sacred Fruit and leaves used for healing. So, what are the effects of these 12 fruit? The Tree of Life is associated with Wisdom and Understanding (Pro. 3:13-18), and Righteousness (Pro. 11:30). The fruit of the Spirit are “Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control,” (Gal. 5:22-23). Could these be the 12 fruits of this Tree?
Is it possible that God has and will continue to use his medicinal and psychoactive natural trees and plants for healing and religious purposes? Many of the medicines that we currently take were derived from natural trees, plants, bacteria, and fungi (herbal remedies). For example, Aspirin was discovered from the willow tree. Marijuana is a natural herb used for healing today to treat many medical and mental health conditions. It is used to treat: Epilepsy/Seizure Disorders and Skin diseases (called demonic possession and leprosy in the Bible), Cancer, Chronic Pain, HIV/AIDS, Crohn’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Neurodegenerative Disease, Glaucoma, Arthritis and Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD and other Mood Disorders. When marijuana is used, a state of mild euphoria results with increased peaceful feelings of well-being, decreased aggression, heightened perceptual acuity, increased self-confidence, creativity, and a slowed perception of time. This Sacred Herb can also dissolve our ego, increase self-awareness, and promote a sense of spiritual community.
So if Adam and Eve had ONLY eaten the White sticky “Cannabis” tops from the Tree of Life, they would have lived in perfect health with the Wisdom and Understanding of God’s Holy fruits. They could have lived forever in communion with God, if they didn’t consume the forbidden fruit. Is it probable then, that the Tree of Life contained natural herbs (Ganja) and fruit that could expand human consciousness for humans to commune and worship God? King Solomon compares his beautiful bride to a garden: “Your plants are… KANAH-Bos (Marijuana)… with every kind of Incense Tree… ” (Songs 4:13-14). Our Creator’s Cannabis enhances our ability to see God’s beauty in every body and everything. Could this 7-point Cannabis leaf Herb – be God’s perfect medicine and spiritual enhancer? (1 Enoch chp. 24-25). Can God use his Holy Herbs to tickle our brains, decrease our anxiety, enhance our mental clarity, and promote physical healing? Did God direct Moses to do this?
HOLY KANAH-BOS (Biblical Cannabis) ~ God’s Sacred Anointing “Hash” Oil Recipe
” Then the Lord said to Moses, Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid Myrrh, half as much of fragrant Cinnamon, 250 shekels of fragrant KANAH-Bos (Cannabis), 500 shekels of Cassia-all according to the sanctuary shekel-and a hin of olive oil… It will be the Sacred Anointing Oil,” (Ex.30:23-25)
God directed Moses and the Israelites to make Holy Anointing Oil, and he gave them the above recipe for it in the Book of Exodus. The original translation of the 3rd ingredient in the Hebrew Bible is Kanah-bos. However, in 3 B.C, the Hebrew Bible was translated into the Greek language (Septuagint Bible), and Kanah-bos was mistranslated into “Sweet Calamus” (a toxic poisonous plant banned by the FDA in 1968). Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan confirms that Sweet Calamus in Hebrew is “Kanah Bosem.” The Ben Yehuda Hebrew-English Dictionary, written by Eliezer Ben Yehuda, the father of modern Hebrew, also defines the Hebrew word “Kanabos” as hemp, a botanical relative of marijuana. This fact was also widely known and confirmed back in 1936, by etymologist Sula Benet who wrote the treatise, “Tracing One Word Through Different Languages.” However, it was covered up by Narcotics commissioner, Harry Anslinger’s racial and political Conspiracy Campaign and the Marijuana Tax Act in 1937. Further evidence in ancient Assyrian Medical Tables (Hashish), Mesopotamian documents (Haoma/Soma), and the Holy scriptures in the Bible itself (Ex. 30:23-25; Songs 4:10-15; Is. 43:24; Jer. 6:20; Ez. 27:19) has convinced ministers, rabbis, botanists, archaeologists, anthropologists, and linguists – that Kanah-bos is what we call Marijuana (Sativa).
In our own time, numerous scholars have also come to acknowledge Kaneh-bos as an early reference to Cannabis (Abel 1982, McKim, 1986, Ciarrocchi, 1993, Bennett et. al. 1995, Mathews, 2005, Russo, 2005, Ruck, 2009, etc.). So, how could this Cannabis-infused Holy “Hash Oil” have such intense psychoactive properties? Well, we know that (1) shekel =.02517679 lbs. This means that 250 shekels or the TetraHydroCannabinol (THC) of over 6 pounds of flowering Cannabis tops were extracted into a hin (1.5 U.S. gallons) of Olive Oil. Scientific tests show that the transdermal (skin) absorption effects of this THC applied topically would undoubtedly have been intense (The Skin is the biggest Organ of the Body). The people who used this Holy Oil literally drenched themselves in it (1 Sam. 10:1). God told Moses: “Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be My Sacred ANOINTING Oil for the Generations to come,” (Ex. 30:31). So, why would God want His chosen people to be Anointed with Holy “Cannabis” Oil? Could it possibly be, because this is the way God created the human brain?
THE BRAIN’S WORSHIP ORGAN (3rd Eye) ~ An Endogenous Cannabinoid System-!
“The Light of the body is the Eye: if therefore thine Eye be Single, thy whole body shall be full of Light,” (Mt. 6:22)
We are created to WORSHIP-! “Where men are forbidden to honor or worship a King they worship millionaires, athletes, or film-stars instead: even famous prostitutes or gangsters. For spiritual nature, like bodily nature, will be served; deny it food and it will gobble poison,” (C.S. Lewis). God has created within us an Endogenous Cannabinoid System named after the Cannabis plant. Marijuana molecules that are naturally made within our bodies are called endogenous cannabinoids. Researchers inform us that “endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. With its complex actions in our immune system, nervous system, and virtually all of the body’s organs, the endocannabinoids are literally a bridge between body and mind,” (Getting High on the Endocannabinoid System, NCBI-NIH). Our brain’s endocannabinoids empower us to do what God created us to do – WORSHIP HIM-! They help to slow our perception of time – to enter the Kingdom of God’s dimension. This is the goal of “Mindfulness” meditation training. They increase dopamine in the brain’s reward system (Heb. 11:6). They also decrease your motivation for worldly greed (Mt. 6:24) and materialism (Rom. 12:2). Researchers inform us that Endocannabinoids are released in the “Runner’s High,” and also in humans after Sexual Orgasms (self.com/gallery/how-cannabis-affects-sex). The endocannabinoids release our body’s natural marijuana (eCBs), and this system is interconnected to our Pineal Gland.
Many believe that Jesus was alluding to the “Third-Eye” or the Pineal Gland in the verse above, as Jesus only talks about ONE eye. Herophilus, the Greek physician credited with the invention of the scientific method – first observed the mysterious PINEAL gland deep within the center of our brains. The ancients called it the “Third-eye, Gateway to Heaven, and the brain’s Holy of Holy’s human Spirit,” because it appears to bridge our physical and spiritual experiences here on Earth. It is shaped like a pine cone (buds), hence its’ latin name “PINEAL.” This small light-sensitive endocrine gland in the brain contains light-sensitive cells just like the retina in our physical eyes. It produces melatonin, a serotonin derived hormone which modulates sleep patterns. Experts believe that our brains also naturally produce dimethyltryptamine when we dream. DMT is found in Ayahuasca- a “Spiritual Medicine” (similar to LSD & mescaline). DMT and Cannabis are theorized to act as super inter-neuronal-connectors in our brain, that simultaneously affect every cell in our body. It appears that the Pineal Gland acts as a “micro-chip” for us to enter God’s Kingdom to communicate with him. Is the Pineal Gland our body-temple’s Holy of Holies?
Genesis specifically mentions a place called Peniel: “Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, ‘It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared” (Gen. 32:30). Jacob wrestles all night with God, and he is commanded to change his name to Israel. Peniel means “Face of God” in Hebrew. God is Light (1 Jn. 1:5), and Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world,” (Jn. 8:12). So as Jesus said, when we Singly fix our Mind’s Eye on the face of God – by CHRONIC-ally praying and meditating, our bodies are full of Light (truth). The endocannabinoids within our brain’s Holy of Holy’s and DMT are released to enhance our overall communication with God through Prophecies, Visions, and Dreams (Acts 2:17). So, we don’t Need to use external Cannabis to worship God – if we can learn to Pray, Watch (visualize), Meditate (Jos. 1:8), and Believe – to put our Faith into action (Heb. 11:1) to see God’s face. God IS in the PRESENT MOMENT ~ Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency Syndrome
“Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps. 46:10) – “Perfume (Oil) and Incense bring joy to the Heart,” (Ps. 27:9)
Before the fall from grace, Adam and Eve were Spiritually Conscious beings. They thought only about the Present Moment with God – not the past or the future, and they accepted all that God gave them as good (to include the fruit from the Tree of Life). They felt secure and connected to the timeless peace, joy and love of their creator and connected to each other. God created within them endocannabinoids (our bodies natural marijuana) to live in the Present Moment when they worshipped God. After they consumed the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil – Sin, Death and TIME entered their world, and they became Spiritually Degenerated beings. They started thinking and feeling guilty and shameful about their PAST behaviors and started worrying and becoming fearful about their FUTURE. They could not accept all things as good anymore, as they could now judge good and bad for themselves. Sin, Time, and Death had altered their DNA, and they felt disconnected from their own bodies, from others, and from God.
Scientists believe that our brain’s Endogenous Cannabinoid System (ECS) works as a master biological regulator (homeostasis), similar to a conductor in an orchestra, making sure that all the individual musicians work in harmony with no one out-playing the other. However, some people don’t naturally produce enough endocannabinoids for their ECS to function properly. In many others, due to our 21st century tendency to work long hours, eat fast food, self-medicate with alcohol, and not sleep enough – our endocannabinoid system is out of whack struggling with the strain of multiple stressors (work, money, relationships, family, etc.). Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency Syndrome (CEDS) is any illness or condition stemming from a lack of endocannabinoids in the body. Jesus said, “the Spirit is willing, but the flesh (our bodies) are weak,” (Mt. 26:41). Knowing this, it’s not a surprise that God would tell Moses and Jesus to use Holy “Cannabis” Oil to anoint, fast, pray (Mt. 6:17) and heal others (Mk. 6:13; Mt. 6:17). But, you don’t need to use Marijuana to keep your ECS working efficiently. You can boost your endocannabinoid system with diet (fasting), exercise (runner’s high), and mindfulness activities (meditation) as Jesus taught us to “Watch and Pray,” (Mt. 26:41).
