The Kingdom Of God And Healing

When Jesus came on the scene and began His earthly and public ministry, he heralded on message; “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” Most people think of repentance as in repenting from sin and that definitely is part of it. The word repentance has a simple meaning of changing the “mind.” It is an about face in our thinking. The Kingdom of God is the rule and authority of God. So when Jesus said to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, He was simply saying “it is time to change your mind about who is in charge.” Then to prove who was in charge, Jesus demonstrated his power over demon spirits by casting them out with His words and then healing all manner of sickness and disease among the people.

Submission to this Kingdom is by choice. God will not force you to submit or commit. However, the benefits of submission to the Kingdom of God which is His rule and authority means you have the ability now to overcome every attack of the enemy and you can be free from the oppression of sin, sickness and disease. Jesus has absolute power over sickness. He has absolute power and authority over the powers of darkness and by submitting to His Kingdom rule, you have that same power as a child of the King.

We are not peasants in this Kingdom. We are actually children of the King and the King always provides for his children. He provides for their physical, spiritual, mental and spiritual well being. Why? Because he knows that the advancement of His Kingdom is dependent upon having healthy, wealthy and wise children.

God’s power is available to every man, woman, boy and girl that will in humility submit to Him and His rule. He doesn’t rule by force but by opening up His arms of love and inviting you into the benefits of His Kingdom. What are those benefits? Healing, deliverance, peace, joy, love, mercy, compassion, eternal life with Him and an abundant life right now here upon the earth.

You see, God wants His children blessed. He wants them healthy because you cannot carry out the work we have to do if we are physically sick and diseased. Most of us are living below the privileges He sent His son Jesus to die for.

Get in to this Kingdom and let God and His power change your situation. You will be glad you did.
